I just purchased a magic keyboard for use with my Mac . The Touch ID feature is not showing up in my system preferences. I am running MacOS Monterey Version 12.4. I have tried to reboot in safe mode as well as reset the SMC but to no avail. How can I get Touch ID to show up in system preferences so that I can take advantage of this feature? Thanks!...
Can I adjust the time period that Touch ID remains "active"? If I am inactive for say 5 min, I have to re-enter my login password; I'd much prefer to just use touch ID on my magic keyboard .
