The trick is to choose the correct ear tip to get a good seal in the ear. If the seal is poor, the bass will be reduced. With a good seal the sound and noise isolation is quite good.

      Meh

I had high hopes for these headphones. In particular, the idea of two drivers appealed to me. The highs and mids on the headphonee are good. The bass, however, is lacking any form of substance. I recommend that you pass on these.

Tinny sound and an overall disappointment

Wow - I have to say that I am deeply disappointed with the quality of the sound from these headphones. I really expected something better given that I find the standard headphones to be ok. Tinny, lacking bass and clarity and in fact, just lacking on every critical dimension. And for 3x the price for the standard headphones (welcome to prices in Europe!) I wanted something superior. Instead, I got something inferior.

These ones are just not worth the money and I'm sorry I bought them. I don't even use them, I bought another pair of the cheaper ones instead. For ones like this, I'd go spend $10 any place.

      Awesome Earphones

If you can't hear any bass, its because you're not getting any seal. Try Comply Whoomp! covers, and you'll hear more than enough bass. With the current silicone tips, I think that they are perfect, and pack a punch in a small package! The mic and remote works great, and if you look after them, they wont break! If apple makes a pair of (non-beats (I'm not a basshead)) headphones that are as good as this, Im in. Pros: Very clear, flat soundstage, great sub-bass, good bass, and very good mids and highs. Not using inferior dynamic drivers, (dual armature is very good). Cons: Could have squeeezed another armature in there if they tried, doesn't feel that premium, and takes around 10 seconds to put on, and 30 seconds to wind into the case. A little expensive? 4.75 stars out of 5
