Hailed as an enduring cult-favourite novel by Hiaasen, “Bad Monkey” makes viewers want to root for the dark horse. The series follows Andrew Yancy (Vince Vaughn), a one-time detective demoted to restaurant inspector in the Florida Keys. After stumbling upon a case that begins with a human arm fished up by tourists, he realises that if he can prove murder, he’ll be back in. He just needs to get past a trove of Floridian oddballs and one bad monkey.
Bill Lawrence serves as creator, executive producer and showrunner alongside executive producers Jeff Ingold, Liza Katzer, Matt Tarses and Marcos Siega. Vaughn also serves as executive producer. “Bad Monkey” is produced for Apple TV+ by Warner Bros. Television.
Apple TV+ offers premium, compelling drama and comedy series, feature films, groundbreaking documentaries, and kids and family entertainment, and is available to watch across all of a user’s favourite screens.
