On Tuesday, 9 September at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, Apple TV+ celebrated the world premiere of the highly anticipated fourth season of “Morning Wars,” the award-winning, acclaimed and global hit drama starring and executive produced by Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston, showrun and executive produced by Charlotte Stoudt, and directed and executive produced by Mimi Leder. “Morning Wars” returns for season four on Apple TV+ on Wednesday, 17 September, 2025 with the first episode, followed by one episode weekly until 19 November, 2025.

Attendees at the premiere event included Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, Charlotte Stoudt and Mimi Leder, alongside the star-studded ensemble cast including two-time Emmy Award winner Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, Nestor Carbonell, Karen Pittman, Nicole Beharie, Emmy Award winner Jon Hamm and Tig Notaro, as well as new season four stars William Jackson Harper, Boyd Holbrook, and Academy Award winners Marion Cotillard and Jeremy Irons. Executive producers Michael Ellenberg, Lindsey Springer, Lauren Neustadter, Kristin Hahn, Zander Lehmann, executive producer and writer Micah Schraft, producer Brian Stelter, and guest star Kara Swisher were also in attendance.

Season four of “Morning Wars” opens in spring 2024, almost two years after the events of season three. With the UBA-NBN merger complete, the newsroom must grapple with newfound responsibility, hidden motives and the elusive nature of truth in a polarised America. In a world rife with deepfakes, conspiracy theories and corporate cover-ups — who can you trust? And how can you know what’s actually real? Along with Witherspoon and Aniston, the star-studded season four ensemble cast includes Billy Crudup, Karen Pittman, Nicole Beharie, Nestor Carbonell, Mark Duplass, Greta Lee, Marion Cotillard, Jeremy Irons, Aaron Pierre, William Jackson Harper, Boyd Holbrook and returning fan-favourite Jon Hamm.

“Morning Wars” is showrun and executive produced by Stoudt, and directed and executive produced by Leder. The series is produced by the studio Media Res, and executive produced by Michael Ellenberg and Lindsey Springer through Media Res, along with Stoudt and Leder. Witherspoon executive produces alongside Lauren Neustadter for Hello Sunshine, while Aniston and Kristin Hahn executive produce through Echo Films. Zander Lehmann and Micah Schraft also executive produce.
