Have purchased an Apple multi port USB-C adapter. In fact 2 of them @ $99 each from Apple. I have been trying to use them on an iPad 11 pro (2018) and an iPad Pro 2021 12.9” (2021) with no charging . Bought a new ipad mini (6th gen) today to replace my old one (cracked screen & outdated). I use a PC and went to connect the ipad and the cord appears to be useless. I has neither a lightning or USB end. And the ipad itself wont take a lightning cord anymore. I have seen this question asked many times, but no answer. Is it possible to turn off the charging when I plug in the USB cable to my iPad? I am using it with my drone and it drains the battery of the controller to the point that the controller use time is halved. I don't need a 100% charged iPad and a dead controller.
