So Much Extra Stuff to keep track of

Instead of having the multiple ports that made the older versions of MBP so useful, you now have to carry around extra paraphernalia like this to be able to interface with all the other stuff that most people use - flash drives, and phones in need of charging and a super drive to back up your files. You need that more often now, because the higher price tag on the MBP means less storage space. So in order to have even half the practicality of previous MBP's, you have to keep track of this adapter, and the lightning cords, and the non-mag-safe power adapter, and now I have to find the means of uploading photos from memory cards, because there isn't any kind of adapter for that, yet. So buy this piece of junk, and make sure you don't lose track of it and the dozen other pieces you need in the name of sleekness of design, and maximizing profits.

However, as if purchasing the latest Macbook wasn't expensive enough, you now have no choice but to buy this as an added extra if you want to sync your phone to iTunes, download software or connect to digital camera etc. I agree with the majority when i say this should be included with the Mac or at least offered for discounted price at the time of purchasing the Mac. Just goes to show that the move to USB-C is just a way for apple to make their products more exclusive and give users no choice but to buy their add-ons at an unfair extra cost.

      So Frustrated

I just bought a new Mac computer and read that I needed an adapter for things like my Wacom drawing pad and my external hard drive. So I purchased this adapter. I just bought a new Mac computer and read that I needed an adapter for things like my Wacom drawing pad and my external hard drive. So I purchased this adapter. I tried plugging it in and the pad lights up like it's working but will not work, the same with my external hard rive. So disappointed and actually not sure what the solution is here.

      It worked 5 times

I bought this with my new MacBook Pro. It worked 5 times before it was dead. Of those five times it was a bit slow to connect connected devices. I don`t f I bought this with my new MacBook Pro.
