Apple TV+ celebrates “The Studio” with star-studded Los Angeles premiere

Last evening at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, Apple TV+ held the Los Angeles premiere of “The Studio,” the acclaimed, star-studded comedy series that will  make its global debut on Apple TV+ with the first two episodes on Wednesday, 26 March 2025 followed by one episode every Wednesday through 21 May 2025.

“The Studio” cast and producers in attendance included Seth Rogen as Matt Remick (co-creator, executive producer, writer, director), Catherine O’Hara as Patty Leigh, Kathryn Hahn as Maya Mason, Ike Barinholtz as Sal Saperstein, Chase Sui Wonders as Quinn Hackett, Dewayne Perkins as Tyler, Bryan Cranston, Evan Goldberg (co-creator, executive producer, director, writer), James Weaver (executive producer), Peter Huyck (co-creator, co-showrunner, executive producer, writer), Alex Gregory (co-creator, co-showrunner, executive producer, writer), Frida Perez (co-creator, writer), Alex McAtee (executive producer) and Josh Fagen (executive producer). 

“The Studio” guest stars and notable attendees included Alan Barinholtz, Jason Keng, Dave Franco, Jen Statsky, Johnny Knoxville, Lisa Gilroy, Nicholas Stoller, Francesca Delbanco, Olivia Wilde, Parker Finn, Sugar Lyn Beard and more. 

In “The Studio,” Rogen stars as Matt Remick, the newly appointed head of embattled Continental Studios. As movies struggle to stay alive and relevant, Matt and his core team of infighting executives battle their insecurities as they wrangle narcissistic artists and craven corporate overlords in the ever-elusive pursuit of making great films. With their power suits masking their never-ending sense of panic, every party, set visit, casting decision, marketing meeting and award show presents them with an opportunity for glittering success or career-ending catastrophe. As someone who eats, sleeps and breathes movies, it’s the job Matt’s been pursuing his whole life, and it may very well destroy him. “The Studio” assembles a star-studded ensemble cast including Emmy, SAG and Golden Globe Award winner Catherine O’Hara, Emmy Award nominee Kathryn Hahn, Ike Barinholtz and Chase Sui Wonders. Academy Award nominee and Emmy Award winner Bryan Cranston will appear as a guest star.
