Today, Apple TV+ revealed a first look at its new documentary adventure series “The Wild Ones,” set to premiere globally on 11 July 2025. Originally announced under the working title “Endangered Planet,” the six-part series follows an elite trio of wildlife experts as they embark on high-stakes expeditions across the globe to track and protect the planet’s most endangered species.

Fronted by former Royal Marines Commando and expedition lead Aldo Kane, wildlife and camera trap expert Declan Burley, and ecological storyteller and wildlife cinematographer Vianet Djenguet, “The Wild Ones” blends rugged field adventure with groundbreaking science and conservation. The team traverses six countries — Malaysia, Mongolia, Armenia, Indonesia, Canada and Gabon — deploying next-generation camera technology to capture rare and often first-ever footage of elusive species, including the Malayan tiger, Gobi bear, Caucasian leopard, Javan rhino, North Atlantic right whale and Western lowland gorilla.

“The Wild Ones” is produced by Offspring Films, the team behind Apple TV+’s “Earth At Night In Colour” and “Earthsounds,” and executive produced by Alex Williamson and Isla Robertson.

Apple TV+ offers premium, compelling drama and comedy series, feature films, groundbreaking documentaries, and kids and family entertainment, and is available to watch across all of a user’s favourite screens. After its launch on 1 November 2019, Apple TV+ became the first all-original streaming service to launch around the world, and has premiered more original hits and received more award recognitions faster than any other streaming service in its debut. To date, Apple Original films, documentaries and series have been honoured with 563 wins and 2,596 award nominations and counting, including multi-Emmy Award-winning comedy “Ted Lasso” and historic Oscar Best Picture winner “CODA.”
