      Powerbeats3 initial thoughts

Great sound and RIDICULOUS bass. The bass is so heavy that I actually had to turn it down in my equalizer settings so that it wouldn't overpower the rest of the Great sound and RIDICULOUS bass. The bass is so heavy that I actually had to turn it down in my equalizer settings so that it wouldn't overpower the rest of the music. I don't see this as a bad thing because headphones have traditionally had sub-par bass. They fit well, don't come off during activities like running or lifting, and pair really easily. My only complaint is that the rubber case that comes with them seems cheap and isn't very sturdy. It's tough to quickly put the headphones away in that case and it doesn't seem to provide much protection from the headphones getting squished. Luckily I kept my case from my dead Powerbeats2 because I'll be using it for these now.

My impressions: Cons: -Carrying case isn't as nice as the 2's. Seems Apple cut back, will be using my PB2's case. -No charge port cover. Worried sweat will get in it Pros: - I actually like the sound quality compared to the 2's. It does emphasis the high end MORE than the 2's. Gives it a better sound balance -Key travel is better on the remote -Pairing is simpler. Not that it was hard before. -#1 improvement, and why I purchased them... battery life!

      Really bad

I have a pair of the Studio Wireless and the Pros. I love both of them. The Pros provide a more true-to-life, flat sound, and the Studio Wireless enhance the sound a little bit, but both are excellent. These Powerbeats3's however, are awful. The treble and mid range is so thin and sounds over compressed. The bass is boomy and too overpowering. Don't get me wrong, I like a little bit of boosted bass in my music or in my car, but the bass on these is just far too much. I tried every ear tip provided, and even the better fitting medium size didn't improve the sound quality at all. The pairing feature is kind of cool, but once you've paired them with your device, it doesn't do a whole lot that other bluetooth headphones wouldn't already do... So many better headphones out there for the price. Don't get these.

Been using them when running... training for races and participating in events, and when on a treadmill indoors. I've had no issues at all, just great sound, and no worries of them ever becoming dislodged from my ears. I always keep them fully charged, hooking them up to my MacBook each evening. They are one year old now, and working the same as the day I opened the box. :)

      As Advertised

I was actually shocked to see how many bad reviews these have. Granted, if mine broke, I'd be in the same boat. However, mine haven't and they've been as advert I was actually shocked to see how many bad reviews these have. Granted, if mine broke, I'd be in the same boat. However, mine haven't and they've been as advertised. The headphones themselves don't move while working out (which is great) and the max volume is right on that line of just right/blow your eardrums out. They don't go as loud as other headphones out there, but like I said...I don't think you'll really need to go over what the max is with these. The sounds are crisp and quality. And to my surprise, the "quick charge" feature works beautifully. My only complaint is that string that holds them together being wide and flat sticks to your neck when you sweat. So, if you turn your head and it's stuck to your neck it'll start to tug on one of the headphones and you may have to readjust one. Not the end of the world, just a minor annoyance. Don't be turned off by all the reviews on here. Upset people make their voice heard, not people totally happy with their purchase. Checkout YouTube or other tech sites for legitimate reviews.

      Terrible quality

I purchased 2 pairs. One of them I had to send them back for repair 5 times already and still waiting to see what happenes with the 5th repair. Another one I ha I purchased 2 pairs. One of them I had to send them back for repair 5 times already and still waiting to see what happenes with the 5th repair. Another one I had to send it 3 times until I decided to change it for something else. They just stop working with no reason at all. Terrible and expensive product to get into. Better to buy some cheap pair of another brand than buying beats ever again. Keep your boxes and cables in order to get your money back or at least a store credit, I am pretty sure, you will need it.
