Shipping & Pickup
In response to COVID-19, our delivery partners are offering no-contact delivery in your area. Drivers may ask for verbal confirmation of receipt from a safe distance to satisfy the signature requirement, or may leave lower-cost shipments at your door with no signature required. And, as always, delivery will be fast and free.
To manage your order, go to apple.com/ca/orderstatus. You can also generate a return label or have one emailed to you. Then contact the carrier to arrange a free, no-contact pickup. Or return your product to an Apple Store within 14 days of the store’s reopening.
Items ship as they become available. You can ship each item to a different address, and choose up to 15 different addresses per order.
Once the item leaves our warehouse, the Shipping Method you choose on the Checkout page determines how quickly your shipped item delivers to your doorstep. You can choose a different Shipping Method for each item on your order. Apple chooses which carrier will deliver your shipment.
The Apple Online Store Canada offers a variety of shipping methods to meet your needs:
- Standard Shipping — Free on all products. Please note that applicable shipping fees apply to Apple Print Products. Delivers within 7 business days after shipping.
- Expedited Shipping — Delivers within 4 business days after shipping. Shipping charges are based on the total weight of the order. Delivery to the northern territories may take more than 4 business days.
Scheduled Courier Delivery
Delivers on the same day, within two hours (available during business hours on selected items, to certain postal codes).
Where available, you can choose a scheduled delivery service for each item in your order.
Delivery times may vary according to your selected address and item availability. A signature may be required.
Shipping costs are calculated and displayed before you complete your order on the Apple Online Store. You can also see shipping costs on the Order Acknowledgment email and on online Order Status. If you order multiple items, you may receive separate shipments. You will receive a Shipment Notification email for each shipment with the carrier's name and tracking information, if available.
We keep you informed
Shortly after you place your order, you will receive an Order Acknowledgement email to confirm your order details, including shipping and delivery estimates for each item. Once your item is prepared for shipment and ships, you will receive a Shipment Notification email with carrier and tracking information.
For an Apple Store Gift Card, iTunes Gift Card or Apple Music Gift Card by email, we'll send you an email notification once we send the gift card to the recipient.
You can visit online Order Status 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to view the most up-to-date status of your order.
Apple Store Pickup
If this is your first time selecting an Apple Store, our product pages will display Pickup: Check availability. Click this link, enter the postal code where you'd like to pick up the item, and click Search Stores to check availability.
If you’ve previously selected an Apple Store, our product pages will display your chosen location. You can click Check another store to check pickup availability at a different Apple Store.
Once you're ready to purchase, select Pick up at Checkout. If you would like to change the pickup location, select Change location. Then Continue. Items marked Available Today will usually be ready for pickup within an hour. In some instances, you may also be able to select a window of time to come to an Apple Store to pick up your order. This Check-In Window will ensure that your order is readily available shortly after you arrive. All you have to do is check in with a specialist when you get to the store. If you’re unable to come in during this time window, you can still pick up your order, but wait times may vary.
You'll receive a notification email when your item is available to pick up. Please wait for this email before coming to the store.
If you would like someone else to pick up your items, select Someone else will pick up these items. To pick up your items in an Apple Store, you will need to bring the order number and a valid government-issued photo ID. If you have designated an alternative pickup contact, they will need to bring the order number and a valid government-issued photo ID.
Apple Financial Services Accounts are not available for orders that contain Apple Store pickup items. To use this payment method please return to Delivery & Pickup Options and select “Delivery” for all the items in your order.
Once your order is placed, we send information about your order by email. The email you receive depends on whether you chose to have the items delivered or picked up. If you have multiple items on your order, you may receive additional emails for each item.
The order acknowledgement email provides a summary of the items on your order. If you chose to have an item delivered, the order acknowledgement will display the delivery address and a Delivers date. You can click this to view your order status in online Order Status. For pickup items on your order, the email will display your selected Apple Store location. If you have designated someone else to pick up the item for you, the email will also display your pickup contact.
If you chose to have an item delivered, we'll send a shipment notification email when the item leaves our warehouse. This email includes the carrier name, tracking number, and a delivery date. You can click the tracking number to track your package using Apple's online Order Status or enter the tracking number on the carrier's website.
If you purchase an Apple Store Gift Card, iTunes Gift Card or Apple Music Gift Card by email, we'll send you an email notification once we send the gift card to the recipient.
Once your items are available at the Apple Store, we'll send a pickup notification email.
We'll send a reminder email if your item is still waiting to be picked up.
We send updates by text message, so you can stay updated on your delivery or pickup order. Just add your mobile number at checkout to receive these notifications. The number of messages you'll receive will vary depending on the orders you placed.
What to Expect
Once your order is shipped or available for pickup, we'll send you a text message. This will include your order number and a link to the tracking or pickup store information. We will also send you texts on the day of delivery or after your item has been delivered, depending on your selected delivery method, country and carrier. You may receive between 1-4 text messages per item on your order.
Changing Text Message Preferences
You can edit your mobile phone number at any time by signing in to your account and editing the delivery or pickup notification preferences for your order.
Delivery Date Information
For carrier deliveries you can track the status of your order via online Order Status, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. To track your order, click this link.
On the Account page you can view the current status of your order, view the items ordered, see estimated dispatch and delivery times and track your delivery.
Shipping and delivery estimates
The ‘Ships’ timeframe is an estimate of when the item will prepare for shipment and ship from our warehouse. The items on your order will ship as they become available.
The ‘Delivers’ timeframe is an estimate of when the item will be delivered to your shipping address after it ships. The estimated delivery time depends on the shipping method you choose during checkout.
All estimates are based on business days.
Signature on Delivery
Some of our shipments require a signature. Your Shipment Notification email will tell you whether a signature is required. If you will not be available to sign for your shipment, consider shipping the item to an address where someone you trust will be available to sign for your package. Once your order has prepared for shipment or has shipped, we are unable to change the shipping address.
Our carriers may offer additional delivery options, which may include electronic signature or estimated delivery time windows, learn more at FedEx Delivery Manager and UPS MyChoice.
Shopping in Canada
The Apple Online Store Canada sells and ships items only within the boundaries of Canada. No shipments can be made to PO Box addresses, freight forwarders, or addresses outside Canada. You may not export any products purchased at the Apple Online Store.
Also, there are thousands of Apple Authorized Resellers who may offer additional shipping options and can help you discover the Apple product that's right for you.
Shopping outside Canada
There are more than 30 Apple Online Stores in countries or regions around the globe. The Apple Online Store Canada currently ships only within the boundaries of Canada. We do not ship to freight forwarders.
