Pricing and Price Reductions/Corrections
Apple reserves the right to change prices for products displayed on the Apple Store at any time and to correct pricing errors that may inadvertently occur. Any price changes will not affect an order that has already been accepted by Apple. In the event of a pricing error, we will notify you of the error and allow you to either proceed with the transaction at the correct price or cancel your order at no cost to you. Additional information about pricing and taxes is available in the Payment & Pricing section of the Help page located at http://www.apple.com/uk/shop/help/payments.
In addition to your right to cancel your order, return a product or cancel a service contract for any reason as explained above, should Apple reduce its price on any Apple-branded product within 14 calendar days from the date you receive your product, feel free to contact the Apple Store by freephone on 0800 048 0408 to request a refund or credit of the difference between the price you were charged and the current selling price. Order, Order Acknowledgement and Order Acceptance
To place an order for products or services at the Apple Store, you can visit the store website at http://www.apple.com/uk/shop or use the Apple Store mobile app, and then simply add the products you wish to your shopping bag, check out (using your chosen payment method) with your Apple ID or as a guest customer, and have your items shipped to you or to a person designated by you. Alternatively, you can call the Apple Store freephone number on
Within a few minutes after we receive your order, we’ll email you an order confirmation. As with the web order number, the order confirmation email does not signify our acceptance of your order; we are simply confirming that we received your order. Once we have processed your order and prepared it for shipping, we will send you an email stating that we have accepted your order, which will include the shipment details (the “Shipment Notification Email”). The decision to accept your order is in our sole discretion. Because we want to make sure that we have your product available, we won’t accept your order until we have prepared your product for shipping. In most cases, this will be within twenty-four hours for items that are in stock. For items that are not in stock, you will receive the Order Acceptance Email when the item becomes available and has been prepared for shipping, which in no event will be later than the “ships” timeframe presented to you at checkout. Once we have sent and you have received the Order Acceptance Email, Apple will have formed a contract with you (we will include the key terms of the contract in this acceptance email). All that remains at that point is for us to deliver the product(s) to you, which we will do straightaway so you can begin enjoying the amazing item(s) you purchased at the Apple Store.
Shipping & Delivery
The Apple Store offers standard and express delivery options. The standard delivery is free of charge for any order exceeding a certain amount. For orders below this amount or for express delivery, shipping fees will apply. Please visit http://www.apple.com/uk/shop/help/shipping_delivery for the current shipping rates and fees. Your order will be shipped once all products of your order are available for a bundle delivery. Orders will not be accepted and products will not be delivered to any address outside the United Kingdom and the Isle of Man.
Please review the Shipping & Delivery section of the Help page located at http://www.apple.com/uk/shop/help/shipping_delivery to learn more about how and when you will receive the products you purchased from the Apple Store. Please note that the actual delivery of your order can be impacted by many events beyond Apple’s control once it leaves our facilities. We will, however, notify you of any significant delays, and work with you to ensure a smooth delivery.
As Apple takes care of the dispatch of the products you purchase on the Apple Store, the risk of loss or damage to the product(s) shall pass to you when you, or a person designated by you, acquires physical possession of the product(s).
Apple offers pickup points from convenient locations for many of the items available on the Online Store. Certain products, however, may not qualify for collection at pickup points. Only you or the person designated by you may pick up the item(s) purchased. A government-issued photo ID and order number will be required for collection by you. Or, you may designate a third party to pick up your order. You must provide the name and email address of the third party and the third party will need to bring their government-issued photo ID and order number for collection. Apple is not responsible for actions taken by the third party once your item(s) have been picked up. Apple will notify you when your order is ready and the date by which you need to pick up your items. Apple will also send you a reminder or two, just in case it slips your mind. If you don’t pick up your order, Apple may cancel it. Items purchased on the Online Store for Business or the Online Store for Education and items purchased with loan financing may not be collected from pickup points. Please visit http://www.apple.com/uk/shop/help/shipping_delivery for complete details about pickup points.

Apple provides a one-year limited manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for any new Apple-branded product. The applicable warranty terms and conditions can be reviewed at http://www.apple.com/uk/shop/legal/warranty/ and are also contained in your Apple hardware box. The Apple One-Year Limited Warranty does not apply to products that are not Apple-branded, even if packaged or sold with Apple products. Non-Apple-branded products may have the benefit of a manufacturer's warranty provided by the product manufacturer — please see your product box and literature for details.
Consumer Law Rights
Apple One-Year Limited Warranty or, in the case of products that are not Apple-branded, the product manufacturer’s warranty (as appropriate) are separate from and in addition to consumer rights provided under UK consumer law. For details, click here.
Apple Store Customer Service
If you experience any problem with your order or want to check the status of your order, please check http://www.apple.com/uk/shop/account/home or contact the Apple Store Customer Service by freephone on 0800 048 0408 from Mon-Fri 0800-2100, Sat-Sun 0900-1800.
This contract is subject to applicable export control laws. You may not export any product purchased from the Apple Store to another country if prohibited by export control laws. If you do plan to export an Apple product to another country, you must obtain any legally required export licences (or other government approvals) prior to doing so.
Product Availability and Limitations
Given the popularity and/or supply constraints of some of our products, Apple may have to limit the number of products available for purchase. Trust us, we’re building them as fast as we can. Apple reserves the right to change quantities available for purchase at any time, even after you place an order, provided Apple has not yet accepted your order.
The Apple Store offers the following payment methods: credit card and bank transfer.
If you are paying by credit card, when you submit your order, we will block up to the total amount of the order on your credit card. If we do not receive authorisation from your credit card issuer, we will inform you so that you can provide us with another payment method. Your credit card will be charged once we accept your order.
We reserve the right to verify the identity of the credit card holder by requesting appropriate documentation.
To ensure that your credit, debit or charge card is not being used without your consent, we will validate name, address and other personal information supplied by you during the order process against appropriate third-party databases. By accepting these terms and conditions, you consent to such checks being made. In performing these checks, personal information provided by you may be disclosed to registered Credit Reference Agency, which may keep a record of that information. You can rest assured that this is done only to confirm your identity, only in connection with purchases made by credit, debit or charge card (and excluding the case where you have requested finance in order to pay for the Products ordered), that a credit check is not performed and that your credit rating will be unaffected. All information provided by you will be treated securely and strictly in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
If you are paying by bank transfer, we will send you a Proceed to Pay email after you have placed your order. Once we have received your payment, we will send you an order confirmation email advising that payment has been received and your order is being processed. Once we have processed your order and prepared it for shipping, we will send you an email stating that we have accepted your order and including details of shipment. If we do not receive payment within 30 days after your receipt of the Proceed to Pay email, we will cancel your order.
The Apple Store may offer additional payment methods. Further information on payment can be found in the Payment & Pricing section of the Help page located at http://www.apple.com/uk/shop/help/payments.
The Apple Store also allows you to pay via Express Checkout. By activating and using Express Checkout, you agree to all of the terms set forth in this Sales Policy. Please note that if you use a public computer or otherwise share a computer with other users, you should turn off Express Checkout when you leave the computer.
Apple routinely audits the purchases of customers at the Apple Store for Education to ensure that all purchase conditions have been observed. Should we discover that you have not observed all of the conditions applicable to your purchase, you authorize Apple:
If you placed your order by credit card, to charge to your credit card the difference between the amount you paid for the delivered goods and the price that Apple charged the general public for the same goods at the Apple Store, in effect on the date that you placed your order; and
If you paid by means other than a credit card, to (a) invoice you for the difference between the amount that you paid for the delivered goods and the price that Apple charged the general public for the same goods at the Apple Store, payable in fifteen days from the date of the invoice, and (b) should you fail to pay the invoice when due, institute legal action against you in a court of competent jurisdiction, with the prevailing party entitled to attorneys’ fees.
Should Apple not offer to the general public the specific products that you purchased at the Apple Store for Education, your credit card will be charged or you will be invoiced the difference between the amount you paid for the delivered goods and the price that Apple charged the general public for the closest equivalent goods at the Apple Store, in effect on the date that you placed your order.
