  • Overview

Unlike traditional, circular earbuds, the design of the EarPods is defined by the geometry of the ear. Which makes them more comfortable for more people than any other earbud-style headphones.

The speakers inside the EarPods have been engineered to maximise sound output and minimise sound loss, which means you get high-quality audio.

The EarPods with Lightning Connector also include a built-in remote that lets you adjust the volume, control the playback of music and video, and answer or end calls with a pinch of the cord.

      A Significant Improvement

As an avid runner, I was dismayed when my bluetooth headphones failed to survive the washing machine and was left with the prospect of what to do until the AirPods came out. These more than fit the bill. My running playlist heavily features a great deal of twee music and these EarPods greatly reproduced the panoply of jangly guitars, whisper soft vocals, and benign snare drums. I threw Angel Olsen's new album at them next (lots of earthy, meandering folk intermixed with a few pop tracks) and they more than performed. They sound better than both the 3.5mm EarPods and several high-end bluetooth headphones I've owned. These are a steal for what they're priced at. Am I upset that they won't plug into my Macbook Air? A bit, but I'd still recommend these.

      Surprisingly Remastered Very Well!!!!!!

I had a feeling these new lighting EarPods were going to be good. They have a surprisingly punchy sound to them, great vocals and clarity. The bass is good to. And for the price these are seriously worth buying, highly recommend giving these a chance.

Non standard shape that - legends say - fits selected few, thin and fragile cable, hard plastic that hurts the ear canals - these are all cherries on the cake. The cake itself is the ability of the EarPods to make specific world noises louder and the lack of any attempt to even block outside noises. Yes, you can crack the volume up, but this triggers sound leakage and in the same time shows how underpowered these are. The EarPods are the single product that shows Apple's absolute worst - hubris, greed, lack of consumer care and no understanding what they are even supposed to produce in terms of basic features.

Angry human internet post #37642-5885 Sound great before the intentional shelf life expires. Each time one side has suddenly stopped working. I once owned Angry human internet post #37642-5885 Sound great before the intentional shelf life expires. Each time one side has suddenly stopped working. I once owned a 3.5mm pair for three years before I had to replace. I’m now on my 5th pair of lightning connector earbuds within two years. (6 months of that I didn’t have headphones as I was exasperated) I don’t treat my headphones badly. In fact I became more cautious after each fail. This latest fail I was watching a video and heard the left side weaken then cut out completely. There was no rough use or stress on the connector... Reading the reviews here it’s clearly a common issue. Absolutely disgusted that a company (that once distinguished itself via its world leading design ethic) feel it’s ok to continue releasing this product with a design fault. It just doesn’t work. What a waste of time, resources and money. Yes they’re under warrantee but after the third time it’s become a joke, it’s depressing when the store employees are being told to act surprised when they probably deal with these several times each day. I can only conclude they're intentionally designed to fail. Sad.
