EarPods with Lightning Connector

  • Overview

Unlike traditional, circular earbuds, the design of the EarPods is defined by the geometry of the ear. Which makes them more comfortable for more people than any other earbud-style headphones.

The speakers inside the EarPods have been engineered to maximise sound output and minimise sound loss, which means you get high-quality audio.

The EarPods with Lightning Connector also include a built-in remote that lets you adjust the volume, control the playback of music and video, and answer or end calls with a pinch of the cord.

      A Significant Improvement

I am absolutely shocked at how rich and punchy these sound. As an avid runner, I was dismayed when my bluetooth headphones failed to survive the washing machine and was left with the prospect of what to do until the AirPods came out. These more than fit the bill. My running playlist heavily features a great deal of twee music and these EarPods greatly reproduced the panoply of jangly guitars, whisper soft vocals, and benign snare drums. I threw Angel Olsen's new album at them next (lots of earthy, meandering folk intermixed with a few pop tracks) and they more than performed. They sound better than both the 3.5mm EarPods and several high-end bluetooth headphones I've owned. These are a steal for what they're priced at. Am I upset that they won't plug into my Macbook Air? A bit, but I'd still recommend these.

      Surprisingly Remastered Very Well!!!!!!

I had a feeling these new lighting EarPods were going to be good. They have a surprisingly punchy sound to them, great vocals and clarity. The bass is good to. And for the price these are seriously worth buying, highly recommend giving these a chance.

Who thought this was a good idea?

Sure, the sound is good. But this limits your use to ONLY apple products. The fact that you are inable to use this with any device, it being a laptop or compute Sure, the sound is good. But this limits your use to ONLY apple products. The fact that you are inable to use this with any device, it being a laptop or computer is horrible. It is incredibly inconvenient. The old design, the one with the regular headphone jack, was much better than the current design as it can actually be used with other devices without having to purchace a separate accessory or an entire new set of headphones just to enjoy sound on another device. For the price, I would expect more than just headphones that limit you to just other apple products.

      Brand New and Awful

I just got these this week, and if I want to listen to music they're fine, but if I ever want to use the cellular device as a way to communicate to the outside I just got these this week, and if I want to listen to music they're fine, but if I ever want to use the cellular device as a way to communicate to the outside world, then they are absolute garbage. If I want any chance of being heard, I have to hold the phone in my hands the whole time, as close to the mic as possible (so not hands-free. May as well hold the phone to my face the entire time sans buds). And even with the mic as close to my face as possible, apparently, it's the outside world these headphones want to transmit to the receiver. Anyway, it makes it impossible to talk to people on the phone. The poor quality of these earbuds feels like an awful and greedy ploy from Apple to make us buy their blue tooth buds or continue to buy their terrible products. In either case, Apple, you can do better.
