Absolutely perfect; however, my black phone now has contact bubbles on the back where the glass back touches the plastic case. Don’t see these on my wife’s blue phone. Really detracts from what the case is supposed to do in showing off the phone. A real let down.

Leaves terrible 'contact patches' completely spoiling the look of the phone

The case itself looks robust and protective, and to that end it is quite stiff and very hard to get on, even harder to get off.... like REALLY REALLY hard! We accepted this, but the nail in the coffin is the horrible, horrible 'contact patch' clearly visible where the case makes contact with a central area of the back of the iPhone. On our white iPhones this leaves a horrible dark grey patch in appearance like a bad bruise. This is not moisture or dirt but simply the contact of the TPU case material on the glass-backed iPhone. We even took them off and refitted being super careful not to touch any part of the back of the iPhone or case, but to no avail. For SUCH an expensive (£45!) case we would have expected Apple to have tested this out and reached their own conclusions that this is clearly unsuitable to sell as a product, unless you really don't care how your iPhone looks. We are very frustrated Apple only sell this case and a couple of Otterbox cases for the XR, whereas the XS has hundred of official Apple cases in various colours and finishes. Come on Apple, give XR customers some options also! As it stands we do NOT recommend this case at all for any iPhone XRs. AVOID!

Buttons feel good but I’m sure will break in more over time! Feels maybe a bit less slippery compared to the phone (itself) but overall very happy with this purchase.

Here are my biggest complaints: 1. The case is too tight, and creates a weird suction bubble on the back, interrupting the idea of "showing off" the color of your phone. 2. The plastic makes your hand clammy if you've been hold it too long, also making it slippery, which is one of the things I intend to offset by opting to have a case in the first place. 3. It is much much harder to get on and off than the silicon cases, I honestly feel like I am doing damage to the phone when I do it. 4. As is normal, little crumbs and stuff get under the edges of the case, but because it is unforgivingly clear, you see it. Overall, I would not recommend anyone buy this case, I had it on for 1-2 weeks and opted to buy a silicon one on Amazon. Just another thing Apple has completely fudged up in the last year.

      Great Look

I read reviews, watched videos etc. Every amazon "15 dollar or less" clear case had at-least one (or more) review stating that the FIRST TIME they dropped their phone (in the cheap case) the screen or back cracked. I did not want to risk it and I trusted Apple's product more from the other brands. I am glad I went with it! The look is great, almost invisible, and it has protected my phone from daily wear. The main reason any review I read or video I watched did not like this case was because of the price. Sure it's 40 dollars, and to some degree overpriced, but it is also from Apple and when has Apple ever sold anything cheap. You already spent 750-900 on the phone, what is another 40 to protect it? Thats about the same cost as going out to dinner one time. It does have a "rainbow" glare in certain light...but that was a plus for my taste. In general, the glare isn't noticeable. The case is a thicker plastic that almost feels like a blend of plastic and silicon. It shows off the phone nicely and another plus for me was that there is no logo on the case. I do not prefer to have words or logos so that is why I chose this over the Otterbox clear case. I do not drop my phone very often. When I have, it was always a casual drop (usually carpet or tile bathroom floor) and have never cracked a phone. If you are someone who drops your phone daily, I would recommend a stronger case. (look into mous cases - they have a clear option) One more thing, as for the air bubbles, they are not in the case. It is the air between the case and your phone. If you notice air bubble press both sides of your phone with both your thumb and index finger. The bubbles will go away instantly. If you have 40 dollars to spend, please do not waste your time debating between amazon's cheaper selection of clear cases. Just order this one.
