§ Terms of Use - Afterpay Pay Monthly
Pay Monthly is a monthly instalment continuing credit contract provided by Afterpay Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 15 169 342 947; Australian Credit Licence 527911). Apple is not a credit provider. Available instalment terms are 6, 12 or 24 months; the applicable term is determined by the eligible product which will be shown at check-out.

Pay Monthly is available to approved customers only; approval is subject to credit assessment by Afterpay and is not guaranteed. Pay Monthly is available only to approved customers who have an Afterpay Pay in 4 Account in good standing and a valid debit card. Monthly payments to Afterpay are required; the timing, amounts, and any applicable fees and charges are determined by Afterpay in accordance with your credit contract with Afterpay. If your order total exceeds your available spend amount for your Pay Monthly account with Afterpay, you may have the option to pay the difference upfront and finance the remaining balance with Afterpay Pay Monthly. Alternatively, you can complete your purchase using a different payment method. Apple does not charge or collect any fees relating to your financing. Apple has the sole discretion to decide which product(s) are eligible for Pay Monthly offers at any time and Afterpay determines credit eligibility, undertakes the credit assessment and determines its approval when you apply for Pay Monthly or request to use Pay Monthly for a purchase. 0% p.a. financing is available on eligible purchases during selected periods. Trade-in values vary based on the condition, year and model of your trade‑in device. Not all devices are eligible for credit. You must be at least 18 years of age to be eligible to trade in for credit or for an Apple Gift Card. Trade-in value may be applied towards qualifying new device purchase, or added to an Apple Gift Card. Actual value awarded is based on receipt of a qualifying device matching the description provided when estimate was made. GST may be assessed on full value of a new device purchase. In-store trade-in requires presentation of a valid photo ID (local law may require saving this information). If you choose to pay with Afterpay Pay Monthly, and the final trade-in value is determined to be lower than the estimate, you will have the option to accept or reject the revised value. If you accept the revised value, you will owe the difference between the estimated trade-in value and the final trade-in value, and a new Pay Monthly order will be created in accordance with your credit contract with Afterpay to fund payment of this amount. If you reject the revised value, your trade-in will be cancelled and your device will be returned to you, and you will owe the full estimated trade-in value. If you fail to deliver the trade-in device to Apple (or its trade-in partner) within the timeframe prescribed by Apple or under the trade-in terms and conditions, you will owe the full estimated trade-in value. In either case, a new Pay Monthly order will be created to fund payment of the full estimated trade-in value. Afterpay will determine whether to approve a new Pay Monthly order referred to in this paragraph. Apple is not responsible for credit decisions. If the new Pay Monthly order is approved, monthly payments to Afterpay will be required and this will increase your total monthly repayments to Afterpay. If the final trade-in value is higher than the estimate, the amount financed will not change and you will receive an Apple Gift Card for the difference.
