Anti-Abuse Policy for .Apple

As the registry operator for the .Apple TLD, Apple is committed to prevent, identify and resolve uses of any .Apple domain name it considers abusive. 

Abuse of a domain name can take many forms, but it generally refers to the use of a domain name to cause harm to Internet users. 

To protect Internet users from the abusive use of .Apple domain names, Apple reserves the right to deny, lock, suspend, or cancel any domain name registration or transaction, or cancel or place any .Apple domain name(s) on registry lock, hold or similar status, for any of these non-exclusive reasons:

  • to protect the integrity and stability of the .Apple registry.
  • to comply with any applicable laws, government rules or requirements, or any dispute resolution process.
  • to avoid any liability, civil or criminal, on the part of Apple, as well as its affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, and employees.
  • to correct mistakes made by Apple or any registrar in connection with a .Apple domain name registration.
