Trading in your device on the Flexible Finance Account

Your trade-in value can be applied to the purchase of a qualifying new device or used to pay off your current associated plan. The actual recognised value is based on the receipt of a qualified device that matches the description provided in the estimate. Theft and loss coverage requires you to have Find My enabled via Settings on your device at the time it is lost or stolen. Find My should remain enabled and your device should remain associated with your Apple Account throughout the theft or loss claims process. Testing conducted by Apple in July and August 2026 using pre-production AirPods 5 with Wireless Charging Case paired with pre-production iPhone 18 Pro units, all with pre-release software. Testing consisted of full AirPods battery discharge while playing audio until the first AirPod stopped playback. The drained AirPods were charged to 100 per cent, then audio playback was resumed until the first AirPod stopped playback. This cycle was repeated until both the AirPods and charging case were fully discharged. Battery life depends on device settings, environment, usage and many other factors.
