      Set your ears free!

      I just got these AirPods this morning and am blown away by them already. The charge case with its tactile rounded edges and corners is a great place to keep the I just got these AirPods this morning and am blown away by them already. The charge case with its tactile rounded edges and corners is a great place to keep them safe in a pocket or purse. Flip the lid and there they are nestling inside, ready for play and your iPhone is already paired. They also paired with my my iPad Air effortlessly and near intantaneously. No fiddling about in settings or entering code numbers is required. They fit my ears really well and show no signs of falling out though at my age I walk and do not jog. Given their price it would be fair to say I won't be taking these out on the ocean in my sea kayak though. The sound quality is superb especially considering that they are connected by bluetooth. Previous bluetooth earphones I have used have been a real faff to connect, the sound quality was tinny and they suffered frequent audio drop outs. Unlike some earphones, these do not seal your ear canal from the outside so if you are in a noisy environment, such as a busy road, they do let a fair bit of outside sound in. So if that is where you listen to music, you might be better with earphones which have soft rubber seals to keep road noise out. Not having to spend time untangling wires really sets you free and I certainly don't miss an earphone being tugged out by the wire that gets caught on a jacket when you take it off or turn your head etc. When I meet someone, I particularly love this feature: removing one AirPod causes the music to pause and you can have a chat. Then when you put it back in, the music starts again. If you chat too long the music stays paused but rather than getting the phone out of an inside pocket, you can just double tap the earphone to activate Siri and say "play". Unfortunately you need to be in WiFi range or have a decent phone signal for Siri to work. I have never used Siri on my iPhone, iPad or MacBook Pro, so for me the AirPods have proved to be the killer application to get me started using Siri. Making or receiving phone calls is also a breeze, double tap to start Siri and say "phone home" and that's it. The only downside (until they catch on) is that having two bits of white pasta sticking out your ears makes you look like a bit of an extra terrestrial. But at least they are not spaghetti like wires! It's good to see some innovation that has been really well implemented. They may be pricey enough to make your eyes water but at least your ears will be happy and free.

      Best Headphones I have ever used!

Flicked open the AirPod Case just to take a look and instantly my phone lit up with the connect screen, it is really that simple. I've owned these for about a month and I've found daily use with battey life brilliant for how small they are, the sound quality is amazing. The switch between iPad, Mac and even Apple TV is fluent and not a problem at all. I highly reccomend this product. Definitely worth more than £159 for the overall experience.

      I bought these AirPods because i get fed up with the corded type getting pulled from my ears every time I move in the chair! When I put the new AirPods in my ea I bought these AirPods because i get fed up with the corded type getting pulled from my ears every time I move in the chair! When I put the new AirPods in my ear for the first time I thought they will fall out but having tried to make them fall out they still stayed in place and after about 20 mins you wouldn't even know they were in. In my opinion worth every penny and absolutely delighted with my purchase.

      Bought them today and so far excellent!! Connects with my iPhone and MacBook Air no problem at all, when walking around at work, and walking home again no prob Bought them today and so far excellent!! Bit pricey but worth it, got fed up getting my wired EarPods caught in my scarf or Jacket.

      I was dubious about buying these, as was not sure about the sound quality or how they fit in my ear. For me the sound is just as good if not better than the pow I was dubious about buying these, as was not sure about the sound quality or how they fit in my ear. For me the sound is just as good if not better than the power beats I have previously and I have no concerns about them ever coming out of my ear and so comfortable I often forget they are in my ears. Well done apple you have a gem of a product here I would recommend for anyone who likes to keep fit and does lots of commuting they are perfect and very easy to stow away. (I am 25 from London)

Tho, I’d like to see in the future software updates a volume adjustment with a tap, so you don’t have to use your phone every time. Also, the lid of the case could be sturdier, not being worried of breaking it after couple of accidental tough openings.
