Warner Bros., Maverick and Apple Bring Madonna’s “Music” to the Web

All Ten Tracks from Forthcoming Album Available at www.madonnamusic.com Exclusively in QuickTime

BURBANK and CUPERTINO, California—September 19, 2000—In a unique Internet event that coincides with the worldwide release of Madonna’s eagerly awaited new album, Warner Bros. Records, Maverick Entertainment and Apple® today announced that all ten tracks from Madonna’s “Music” CD are immediately available exclusively at www.madonnamusic.com exclusively in Apple’s QuickTime™ format. In addition, two forthcoming video remixes of the album’s first single, the title track “Music,” will be available at www.madonnamusic.com exclusively in QuickTime.
“Madonna is very excited about the launch of her web site as it affords both direct contact with her fans as well as serving as another avenue for her creative output,” said Caresse Henry, Madonna’s manager.

In addition to the album’s tracks and the forthcoming special video remixes, www.madonnamusic.com features a special Deep Dish audio remix of the song “Music” for download exclusively in QuickTime.
“Music,” released on Maverick/Warner Bros., is Madonna’s eighth studio album and is co-produced by the artist herself and French dance sensation Mirwais, William Orbit (at the helm of her 1998 smash, the Grammy-winning “Ray of Light”), Spike Stent and Guy Sigsworth. The “Music” single is number 1 onBillboard’s Hot 100 chart and is also currently charted at number 1 in fourteen other countries. Remixes of the first single “Music” to date have been done by Groove Armada, Hex Hector, Victor Calderone and Deep Dish.
