Spotlight: NYPL’s studio40 Rising Creators Showcase

Join us to celebrate original music by artists from The New York Public Library’s studio40. Discover how Etienne Landois, Keidaï Lee, Tim Falvey, and IMMATERIAL! create tracks on Mac and iPad, then enjoy their recordings and a special live performance. Plus, learn more about Apple Music for Artists and why it’s an essential tool for aspiring musicians. Sign language supported.

Etienne Landois, also known as Worshipel, is a French multi-instrumentalist composer and musician based in New York City. He creates inspiring live music through peaceful and continuous soundscapes.

Keidaï LeeSinger and Songwriter

Keidaï Lee, known as Kade I.E., sings about imperfect experiences and finding ways to come together. His music spans electro pop and dance pop with influences of rock, rap, and R&B.

Tim FalveySinger

Tim Falvey fuses Celtic-tinged vocals, poetic lyricism, and grit to produce original Americana music under the project name Big Iron Echoes.

IMMATERIAL!Pop Duo

Made up of longtime friends Abby (they/them) and Camille (they/she), IMMATERIAL! is an emerging queer pop duo from Brooklyn with a unique, experimental dance pop sound.

Low KeyApple Music Radio Host

New Jersey native Low Key hosts Apple Music’s Hip-Hop/R&B Throwback Radio and specials for Essential Albums. He also cohosts Apple Music’s weekly roundtable Rap Life Review with Ebro Darden and Nadeska Alexis.
