In honor of Earth Day, join artists from the Recology San Francisco Artist in Residence (AIR) Program to explore what’s possible when we create with discarded materials. Program alumni Tariq Stone, Julia Goodman, and Bryan Keith Thomas will share their work and the sustainable methods behind their designs. Plus discover how they dream up new ideas using Apple devices. Sign language supported.

Tariq Stone is an artist exploring memory and identity through an emotional lens. His work blends the personal with the mythical to tell stories we inherit, forget, and carry forward.

Julia Goodman works at the intersection of papermaking, textiles, and sculpture. She has held a solo exhibition at San Luis Obispo Museum of Art and residencies at Eames Institute, NIAD, and The Space Program.

Bryan Keith Thomas is an artist and educator whose work celebrates the Black experience through its historical symbols. He is currently a professor of fine art at the California College of the Arts.
