Hailed as an enduring cult-favorite novel by Hiaasen, “Bad Monkey” makes viewers want to root for the dark horse. The series follows Andrew Yancy (Vince Vaughn), a one-time detective demoted to restaurant inspector in the Florida Keys. After stumbling upon a case that begins with a human arm fished up by tourists, he realizes that if he can prove murder, he’ll be back in. He just needs to get past a trove of Floridian oddballs and one bad monkey.

Bill Lawrence serves as creator, executive producer and showrunner alongside executive producers Jeff Ingold, Liza Katzer, Matt Tarses and Marcos Siega. Vaughn also serves as executive producer. “Bad Monkey” is produced for Apple TV+ by Warner Bros. Television.
