  • Overview

    The USB-C to USB Adapter lets you connect iOS devices and many of your standard USB accessories to a USB-C– or Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C)–enabled Mac.

    Plug the USB-C end of the adapter into a USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) port on your Mac, and then connect your flash drive, camera or other standard USB device. You can also connect a Lightning to USB cable to sync and charge your iPhone, iPad or iPod.

      not impressed

      not impressed after spending £1300 on a macbook you then have to spend another £15 just to get a usb port if your lucky and can get one and to top it all you bu not impressed after spending £1300 on a macbook you then have to spend another £15 just to get a usb port if your lucky and can get one and to top it all you buy the all new full metal macbook and you have to plug a white lead in to it that dangles down to then plug your usb device into think apple need to think about what they are doing the cable should be free in the box when you buy a new macbook

      Essential but at an unfair cost

      The product itself is good, it works as it should. However, as if purchasing the latest Macbook wasn't expensive enough, you now have no choice but to buy this The product itself is good, it works as it should. However, as if purchasing the latest Macbook wasn't expensive enough, you now have no choice but to buy this as an added extra if you want to sync your phone to iTunes, download software or connect to digital camera etc. I agree with the majority when i say this should be included with the Mac or at least offered for discounted price at the time of purchasing the Mac. Just goes to show that the move to USB-C is just a way for apple to make their products more exclusive and give users no choice but to buy their add-ons at an unfair extra cost.

      Slightly annoying

      It will work when I have to buy it, but totally agree with the additional charge needed on top of buying the product, which shouldn't be necessary.       £19 and doesn't even work

      Forced to by this flimsy device after your £1300 MacBook Pro doesn't come with any USB ports. After then spending £19 on this product you realise that the USB p Forced to by this flimsy device after your £1300 MacBook Pro doesn't come with any USB ports. After then spending £19 on this product you realise that the USB port is actually too small and you almost break it every time you try and insert your memory stick. Even after all of that mine hasn't worked since the moment I brought it home. Dont buy it. More use not having it and using something like OneDrive to back up your work.

      USB port is too tight. Just be very careful!!!

      The USB port is too tight so whatever I plug in to the adapter, I spend the next 1 minute forcing the usb device in and out of the port. I almost pulled my Mac The USB port is too tight so whatever I plug in to the adapter, I spend the next 1 minute forcing the usb device in and out of the port. I almost pulled my Mac on to the floor when I tried to remove the apple supplied lightning cable from the adapter. As both the cable and the adapter are made by apple they should get the fit right this is on two separate adapters, I both from my new MacBook Pro. Just be very careful NOT great Apple!!

      Worth the purchase.

      Although I agree with a lot of other concerns, like apple products are already expensive, for such a cheap to produce adapter, it could be included in the box w Although I agree with a lot of other concerns, like apple products are already expensive, for such a cheap to produce adapter, it could be included in the box with the product. On the other hand though, I appreciate the essential adapters like this and the iPhone headphone adapter being kept to £9 instead of £30. I also have no problems with the ports on the MacBook already like a lot of people seem to mention, technology is advancing and until the rest of the industry catches up, using an adapter doesn't bother me. This product works fine and does the job, it is just a shame the larger adapter with hdmi, USB-A and USB-C couldn't be cheaper.
