      Persnickety

      This cable has gone from kinda working (getting my macbook to charge after 20 secs of trying) to having to fiddle with it for more than 5 minutes before it work This cable has gone from kinda working (getting my macbook to charge after 20 secs of trying) to having to fiddle with it for more than 5 minutes before it works. As of now, I have to manually hold the charge cable into the port as far as it will go before it registers and begins to charge. The moment I let go it stops charging again. Then, randomly, it will suddenly resume charging as usual. This is incredibly frustrating and time wasting.

      Second Cable :{

      My confidence in Apple is AAA, and possibly will be for life. My past with Apple has been a life changing experience learning the Apple computer over the passed My confidence in Apple is AAA, and possibly will be for life. My past with Apple has been a life changing experience learning the Apple computer over the passed 20 plus years and educating myself at the same time. That being said I am confident I had the first generation USB Type C Charging cable that failed. I refuse to judge such a wonderful company of one bad cable. The symptoms of my cable failure was, one day the cable just stopped working. Thinking it was the power cube I took my macbook and power charging system to the Genius bar and of course the dang thing worked without a hitch. (All tested fine never even hinted bad) Thinking I was a insufficient after leaving the apple store, I got home and the silly thing would not charge, running my hand slowly up and down the cable I was able to make it charge but when I let go of the infected area it would go bad again. BAD CABLE!! So as in Audio and or Video 95% of your issues are probably going to be cable related. Thanks Apple, I hope this one works for a long time.

      Failed again and again and again

      My original USB-C cable stopped charging after 8 months of purchase. Then I used another one when apple replace it for free in their USB-C Replace Program. The My original USB-C cable stopped charging after 8 months of purchase. Then I used another one when apple replace it for free in their USB-C Replace Program. The surprise was it stopped charging only after 3 days of first use! Then I used another new one from Apple, and again it stopped charging in 2 days! Is this a cable or a joke!

      Broke in just under 4 months

      I can see from the reviews this is a big problem, and had I read the reviews specific to this I might have opted for another macbook pro. My cable, like many ot I can see from the reviews this is a big problem, and had I read the reviews specific to this I might have opted for another macbook pro. My cable, like many others quit working in under four months (bought after Black Friday and Quit working on Leap Year). What really disturbs me is that there is no clear damage to the cable. In fact, unlike my other charges, I never take this anywhere, and so it never gets wound or rolled up. It has just been left hanging loosely next to my desk. This combined with the lack of a magsafe connector means I will probably put this up for sale and go back to the macbook pro.
