Redesigned. Rechargeable. Remarkable.

  • Overview

Featuring a new design, Magic Mouse 2 is completely rechargeable, so you’ll eliminate the use of traditional batteries. It’s lighter, has fewer moving parts thanks to its built-in battery and continuous bottom shell, and has an optimized foot design — all helping Magic Mouse 2 track easier and move with less resistance across your desk. And the Multi-Touch surface allows you to perform simple gestures such as swiping between web pages and scrolling through documents. Magic Mouse 2 is ready to go right out of the box and pairs automatically with your Mac.

MUCH smoother on the desk, more solid feel, definitely seems like an upgrade vs just a replacement. Even my wife noticed how much better it seemed to work, and she didn't even notice when I replaced our old iMac last year! Yes, it's weird to have the port on the bottom for charging. But honestly, if the battery lasts as long as they say it will between charges it's not a big deal.

I tried to use it with everything I could (desktops, laptops, tablets,...) and it always worked smoothly via Bluetooth. The outstanding design and swiping ability are just awesome. I recommend this mouse for everyone who is frustrated from a cheap plastic junk mice and always losing a small wireless USB transmitters.

      Great mouse

Mouse came charged to 95% and it was very easy to pair. I like its clicking sound better than the one old mouse had.

I've never been so disappointed in an Apple product. Dead on arrival. I humored it with a full charge, tried connecting it to my Mac using the USB method and Bluetooth method, even searched forums on the internet to see what it could be that I was doing wrong. Apparently this mouse is highly known for similar issues. I wish I had known before wasting time trying this product.

Mind of its own...wastes my time

Drop down menus do not stay open but flash and close until I find the EXACT spot. sometimes it takes more than a minute just to open the drop down. Multiply that by the times I must do that during the day and it is a significant loss of time. A slight brush by accident and it sweeps away the page I am on and goes back or forward a page. WHAT were you thinking APPLE?? STUPID DESIGN and a real time waster AND not ergonomic!! Fire the team that designed this and the manager that approved it!

      Apple does it again

The magic bit, brush the surface and the window scrolls, turned out to be extremely annoying. And, of course as so many others have pointed out, the mouse is unusable while its charging. Brilliant!
