Magic Mouse 1 uses AA batteries. Magic Mouse 2 has an internal rechargeable battery (to recharge us Magic Mouse 1 uses AA batteries. Magic Mouse 2 has an internal rechargeable battery (to recharge use USB to Lightning cable).
