Q: ipad mini not charging USB from PC*

My Lenovo ThinkPad T420s has 3 powered USB ports; two USB 2.0 and one USB 3.0.  All three successfully charge my iPhone and iPod Touch with both their original and aftermarket 30 pin USB cables . My husband's iPod 5 charged just fine on my PC with its Lightning cable .   However, the iPad Mini will not charge on any of the ports using either my or my husband's Lightning cable .  The Mini only charges from the wall outlet charger.  The Lighning cable works fine with any of these same USB ports

Q: Charging with cube but not Mac

Howdy,   Recently, I noticed that my iPhone only charges with the cube or some other direct USB connection to power.  It will not charge when connected to my Mac, my Honda, a Dell from work, and it won't connect to my FLIR infrared camera (a real bummer tonight, as I live in Houston and wanted to check out my house amidst all this icy rain).   Is there a hardware problem?  A software problem?   I just did a hard reset, and plugging the lightning cable into my Mac and my phone will start

Q: Camcorder won't sync after High Sierra update

I updated to MacOS High Sierra a few days ago and since then my videos won’t copy off the camera anymore.   I’m using a Sony HDR-CX455 camcorder. I store video on the internal storage on the camera. When I plug it in (old USB > USB C adaptor>MacBook Pro 13” 2016 TB), the charge light on the camera works, meaning there is power going to it. However, when I start the sync option on the camera, it pops up on my desktop (the UNTITLED drive for the camcorders internal memory), then disappears
