Have purchased an Apple multi port USB-C adapter . In fact 2 of them @ $99 each from Apple . I have been trying to use them on an iPad 11 pro (2018) and an iPad Pro 2021 12.9” (2021) with no charging. I have been trying to connect a 4k Apple TV to a receiver and then out to a projector. I have connected via HDMI cable the Apple TV 4K to a Pioneer 1080p receiver. Then via HDMI on the receiver out to my Epson Projector. The projector receives NO signal at all from Apple TV. However, if I plug the Apple TV directly into the projector (via HDMI) it works fine. I have recently purchased an iPad 8 and it will not play on tv via the Apple lightning digital AV adapter . I have checked the adapter by using it with my iPhone 13 and all is fine. I am running the latest iOS on both devices. When I plug the adapter in, the iPad recognises it with a small blue icon at the top of the screen. Once I connect it to the tv the blue icon disappears. I have tried connecting both the tv and iPad first with no success . Any help advice would be appreciated...
