      Increases Mindfulness

      I was sitting down to dinner with friends at a fancy restaurant. Finances have been tight for me and when I opened the menu I was very taken aback by how pricey I was sitting down to dinner with friends at a fancy restaurant. Finances have been tight for me and when I opened the menu I was very taken aback by how pricey the food was. Just then my SPIRE buzzed at me and my phone notified me "you seem a little tense". I took a deep breath and enjoyed my sea bass and a wonderful evening with friends. This feature is amazing, just the reminder I need because we all know that worry only makes things worse, just a quick buzz and I'm able to let it go!

      Used to be great hardware AND software but the last update has made me abandon this device. The app flat out is simply infuriating trying to get to the information you want to see, ironic considering the intent. They changed SO MUCH without any notice, all in one fell swoop, and now everything just seems like a giant mess with very little thought given to the UX experience. So upset with this company basically voiding my purchase because of the bad update. Seek other tools!

      Not a fitness tracker, a mindfulness tracker it is

      I started mindfulness about a month ago with my therapist to treat rage issues and fear of flying. It has helped me a lot and well results have been very positi I started mindfulness about a month ago with my therapist to treat rage issues and fear of flying. It has helped me a lot and well results have been very positive. About three weeks ago I saw this device at an Apple Store in Miami so I chose to give it a try. It is a clip that goes inside your pants (or bra) and measures your breathing activity. Bluetooth must be on but it is not battery consuming at all. It shows your way of breathing to know if you are tense, calm or focused. It is amazing how it can tell if you are tense and it vibrates and shows a notification when a tense pattern is shown (above 2 mins but it can be customized) and reminds you to breathe. In theory it tracks steps and activity but I have never used this feature. I think an accurate way to track steps is the apple watch or a fitbit (I wear a Jawbone UP4, it helps me track my sleep). Another cool feature is that is has several audio guides that provide mindfulness advice about eating, working and a lot of other stuff. I strongly advice this device as a mindfulness tracker and aids in professional therapy and not as a fitness device.

      Product can really help you

      I've had mine for about 3 months and it's really helped me move more and understand my moments. Reminding me to take a breath or that my breathing is tense is a I've had mine for about 3 months and it's really helped me move more and understand my moments. Reminding me to take a breath or that my breathing is tense is a great reminder to stop and refocus. If you are unsatisfied, call the company and tell them what is wrong. I'll bet they will help you - they did with me on an issue.

      great idea... but

      Quite good so far

      I'm only on week one but mine has worked great so far. I have a very stressful job and need reminders to stop and breathe!
