Apple M2
M2 is the next generation of Apple silicon. Its 8-core CPU lets you zip through everyday tasks like creating documents, or take on more intensive tasks like editing personal photos.
M2 features a 10-core GPU, resulting in a big boost in graphics performance compared with M1. And its media engine lets you play and edit multiple streams of 4K and 8K ProRes video.
Mac mini with M2 supports up to two displays.
Apple M2 Pro
M2 Pro brings power to take on demanding projects. With its up to 12-core CPU, it makes pro workflows fly — from sorting and editing thousands of images to running computational fluid dynamics simulations.
Its powerful media engine lets you play and edit multiple streams of 4K and 8K ProRes video. The up to 19-core GPU provides next-level graphics performance.
Mac mini with M2 Pro supports up to three displays.
Unified Memory
The M2 chips include superfast unified memory, which provides a single pool of high-bandwidth, low-latency memory that allows apps to efficiently share data between the CPU, GPU, and Neural Engine.
This efficiency means you can do more with unified memory than you could with the same amount of traditional RAM, and your Mac can run multiple apps at once while remaining fast and responsive.
Mac mini can be configured with up to 24GB with M2 or 32GB with M2 Pro for easier multitasking and handling of large files.
Storage
Solid-state drive (SSD) storage gives you space to store your projects, documents, photos, music, videos, and other files on your Mac mini. The SSD in Mac mini delivers exceptional performance and speed that you’ll notice when you start up, launch apps, open project files, and browse your libraries.
Mac mini can be configured with up to 2TB with M2 or up to 8TB with M2 Pro.
