They are constantly tangled because of the flat cord that comes on them; to the point where I've never had them perfectly straight since opening the box. But the major flaw these have is that the part where the lightning connector meets the cord is extremely fragile and after light use WILL ruin your headphones, causing them to pause randomly or have your phone not even recognize that they're plugged in anymore.

      No case

Love the earphones and the color. Disappointed that they did not come with a carrying case like all the other beats products I have purchased

The earbuds The consumers are the ones who lost out when Beats were sold to Apple. The packaging is cheap and the quality of the headphones/earbuds is subpar. The earbuds no longer come with a carrying case, It’s much easier for the eartips to fall off, so the consumer are just left with using tips that don’t fit properly. The newer products don’t even come with a clip to connect the cord to a shirt. If you have older versions of beats anything, save it because the new stuff just isn’t worth it. I’m thinking this is on purpose.

The weird flat shape makes these MORE prone to tangling than if it were a cylinder-shaped wire. The material casing the wire itself is not smooth--it's almost sticky. The effect is that it catches on your clothes and pulls the earbuds out of your ears easily. But what does that matter? Sometimes the iPhone won't even read that the headphones are connected, so it'll just play audio out loud instead of in the earbuds. No need for the earbuds to stay in your ears. Most egregiously, the part of the wire that connects directly to the lightning end is already misshapen and will fray--I give it a month. These issues are all apparent after using the product for about a week and a half total after buying it less than 30 days ago. Of course, the return policy is only 14 days—so I’m stuck with overpriced earbuds. Do not waste your money on these. If I could return them I would. I know the choice in buying lightning earphones is a joke--but don't buy these.
