AppleCare+ for iPhone provides coverage for up to two incidents of accidental damage from handling. Each incident is subject to a service fee of $29 for screen damage, and $99 for any other damage, plus applicable tax.
You are not required to purchase AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss to participate in the iPhone Upgrade Program. If you select it, the full cost of the plan will be spread out over 24 monthly payments. AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss requires you to have the Find My iPhone feature enabled on your device at the time it is lost or stolen. AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss provides up to two incidents of accidental damage from handling (ADH), theft, or loss. Each incident of ADH is subject to a $29 deductible for screen-only ADH and $99 for all other ADH. Theft and Loss deductibles apply and vary by model: $199 for iPhone 7 and iPhone 8, $229 for iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 8 Plus, $229 for iPhone XR, and $269 for iPhone XS or iPhone XS Max.
