The build quality seems excellent unlike some fast external drives. Draws a decent amount of power, notable if you are running your laptop on battery (900mA I think it said in the specs?), should unplug it when not using or your battery will drain faster of course. I am not sure if this is unusual or not. I dont know if it draws this power when reading / writing or continually, but that would be a good thing to know if you are a mobile battery-bounded user.
