Overview

With the Apple Watch Magnetic Charging Dock, you can charge your Apple Watch in a flat position with its band open, or on its side. When docked on its side, your watch automatically goes into Nightstand mode, so you can also use it as your alarm clock. The Apple Watch Magnetic Charging Dock uses the same inductive charging connector that comes with Apple Watch. It charges both the 38mm and 42mm models. And it connects via the Lightning to USB Cable and Apple 5W USB Power Adapter.

This is a dock without compromises. While there are cheaper options, they're either too big to travel with or have other limitations. For example, the dock Appl This is a dock without compromises. For example, the dock Apple sells in their stores that come in multiple colors aren't compatible with the stainless steel link band because of the weight. This dock is slim, beautiful, and travels well. It may seem pricy, but when you factor in the fact that it comes with a 2m lightning cable ($29 USD), the price of the dock then falls to about $50 which is in line with some of the other docks that require compromising and don't look nearly as good.

Works Great

I just got this a few days ago and it works like a charm. I know there are other products on the market which are cheaper and work just as well but I trust Appl I just got this a few days ago and it works like a charm. I know there are other products on the market which are cheaper and work just as well but I trust Apple accessories to work with Apple products. What is nice is that the cord is long so it can fit say on a nightstand where the outlet is a few feet away. It is also about the size of a CD. Once I'm done charging my Watch, I can always pull the cord out of the base and charge my iPhone.

love it for nightstand

classic apple quality. delivers as expected. I bought the griffin stand months back but it holds watch at a 45 angle. While the cost of the stand seems high, it works extremely well and allows the comfort of knowing your expensive watch has a safe resting space. It is weighted and allows your watch to charge in multiple positions. On days when you don't have to charge your watch, the magnetic charger lays flat for a safe place to lay your watch while it is not charging. Overall, it is worth the cost for peace of mind. I have not used other chargers as I recieved this as a gift with my watch. As many reviewers have stated, I trust Apple with their products. This charger packs flat, protects your investment, and looks beautiful.

Go into the Apple Watch app on your iPhone and tap on the my watch section (first option) click on t Go into the Apple Watch app on your iPhone and tap on the my watch section (first option) click on the I in the circle next to the watch you want to unpaid and when you have done this, look at the red text that reads "unpair Apple Watch" click on it Hope this helps!

It the watch waterproof? Can you wear it in the pool, when training etc? What depth, pool swimming in a shower or the bath?

The series 2 watch is waterproof enough to go swimming. You wouldn't want to go diving with it, but The series 2 watch is waterproof enough to go swimming. You wouldn't want to go diving with it, but swimming laps is fine. Series 1 and the original Apple Watch are not designed for swimming.
